Dr Eleanor Garstang and Dr Emily Dean are Junior Clinical Fellows in Intensive Care Medicine with a shared interest in neuro-anaesthesia and critical care. Dr Garstang completed her MBChB at Lancaster University, while Dr Dean trained at the University of Leeds. Their collaborative work on Lance–Adams syndrome earned a regional poster award from the North of England Intensive Care Society, and they are currently preparing their case report for publication in the British Medical Journal. Approachable and motivated, they are committed to pursuing careers in this field. Outside medicine, Dr Garstang has a longstanding interest in hockey, while Dr Dean enjoys fitness training.
